Coleslaw Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 cups finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrot
  • 2 tbsp minced onion

For the Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, and onion.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, milk, sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, for best flavor and texture.
  5. Stir before serving cold.
