Glimmer Grove
Moonlight spills through the twisted trees
Dancing on leaves in the midnight breeze
Fireflies hum in a sparkling choir
And lanterns swing like tiny desire
We’ll skip on roots that curl and bend
Through secret paths that never end
Owls blink slowly, wise and sly
As stars wink secrets across the sky
A fox with a lantern joins our race
Tail flicking like a comet’s trace
We’ll giggle at shadows, chase the wind
And leave the mundane world behind, thinned
Through arching vines and silver streams
We’ll chase the echoes of midnight dreams
The ground hums softly beneath our feet
A rhythm of magic, wild and sweet
Mushrooms glow in a gentle blue
Whispering riddles meant for two
A raccoon with a pocket-watch grins
Counting the moments mischief begins
We’ll climb the hill where the moon hangs low
Casting a spell with its silver glow
The breeze carries secrets, laughter, and light
Wrapping our hearts in the arms of night
So grab your cloak, your spark, your delight
The Glimmer Grove glows with mischief tonight
Hearts untethered, our spirits ignite
Come play with me till the dawn is in sight
And when the sun peeks over the trees
We’ll vanish like whispers on the morning breeze
But Glimmer Grove will wait, patient and sly
For nightfall’s return and our next moonlit sky
