Doctor Who Fanfic One

Rose's P.O.V.

It was happening, my worst fears were becoming realized. Sarah Jane hinted at it, just as a few had before. The Doctor was leaving me, here, in some parallel world. He wasn't coming for me, he wasn't waiting somewhere to jump out and yell "Alons-y" as we gallivanted off into the distance for our next mission. The Doctor's adventures weren't over. No, but mine were. I ripped open the very fabric of time and absorbed the power of the time vortex through the TARDIS, and still, it wasn't enough. Still, I was being abandoned. 

As I gripped my pillow as if it too were attempting to leave me, tears slid from my eyes and down onto my cheeks. They stung, creating chills down my spine. After a short while, I drifted off to sleep.

The Dream

The TARDIS landed in front of me, just as I dreamed so many times before. The doors opened and his head poked out. My heart erupted in cartwheels. His head swiveled in my direction.

"Doctor!!!" I called out in response. 

"Rose! I'm coming for you, Rose!!!" He called desperately. "Don't forget me, Rose. I -" 

Just as so many times before, he disappeared before he could finish the sentence. 

I fell to my knees and wept.

"I love you Doctor, and I will never, never forget..."
