Cajun Chicken Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning, divided
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove and slice.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté bell peppers for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in remaining Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat in sauce.
  7. Top with sliced Cajun chicken.
  8. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
