Cajun Chicken Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning, divided
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove and slice.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté bell peppers for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in remaining Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat in sauce.
- Top with sliced Cajun chicken.
- Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
