A New Chapter: From Poetry to Fiction

It's been an incredible journey, and I can hardly believe I'm here, celebrating the release of my two poetry books. There’s something magical about seeing your words transform into physical pages that others can hold, read, and connect with. It’s been nothing short of exciting to share my poems with you all, but now... the thrill takes on a whole new level.

I’m working on something different. Something new. Something entirely thrilling.

I’ve always had a love for storytelling, and for years, I’ve found joy in capturing emotions and experiences in the raw and evocative verses of poetry. But now, I’m stepping into a new creative realm—a fictional novel. This project has been in the works for a while, slowly building in my mind, and now it’s coming to life in the most exhilarating way.

To think, I started as a poet—focused on the rhythm of words, the weight of a single sentence, and the deep meanings hidden in each line. But fiction? Fiction is an entirely different beast. It’s a world I get to build, characters I get to create, and stories I get to weave from the depths of my imagination. The excitement I feel when I sit down to write is palpable. I can’t wait to share these new worlds with you.

There’s a sense of freedom in fiction that’s both intimidating and beautiful. The pages can go anywhere. I can take my characters through challenges, triumphs, and moments of deep reflection. Every word is a chance to explore something new—whether it's the building of a world, the development of a character, or the twists that come when I least expect them.

The creative process for a novel is different than poetry. There’s room to stretch, to expand, to breathe into every detail. While poetry is often about brevity and intensity, fiction gives me space to explore, to dig deep into the layers of the plot, and to really immerse myself in the people and places I’m bringing to life. Every day is another step forward, and every chapter adds a little more excitement to the journey.

I’ve already experienced so much joy from this new project—moments of intense creativity, flashes of inspiration, and even the quiet moments when the story begins to unfold all on its own. And that’s the beauty of writing. It’s constantly evolving. Each page brings me closer to that moment when I can finally share it with you all.

For those of you who have followed my poetry, you know how much your support means to me. It’s a bond that’s built through words, through shared experiences, and I can’t wait to extend that connection to this new, fictional world I’m creating. As the plot thickens and characters begin to take on lives of their own, I feel incredibly lucky to be able to share this with you.
