Review:
Limitless is one of those movies that grabs you from the first frame and doesn’t let go until the credits roll. Bradley Cooper absolutely nails the role of Eddie, bringing charm, wit, and just the right amount of recklessness to the screen.
The way the film blends science fiction concepts with a sleek, fast-paced thriller style is brilliant. The visual effects when Eddie is on NZT pull you right into his heightened world where everything feels sharper, faster, and more dangerous.
Robert De Niro as the powerful Carl Van Loon adds depth and tension, keeping the stakes high and unpredictable. The romantic subplot with Lindy gives the story a softer edge without taking away from the adrenaline-fueled ride that is Eddie’s transformation.
While a few side characters could have used more development, the film’s energy, style, and thought-provoking premise make it unforgettable.
Five stars for Limitless, a stylish and addictive thriller that leaves you wondering just how far you would go for ultimate power.
