The lanterns wink in a sky so deep
While rooftops yawn and rooftops sleep
We’ll sneak through alleys where shadows play
And spin with the night in a wild ballet
Foxes in waistcoats tip their little hats
Owls wink secrets from their hidden flats
The wind hums tunes only dreamers know
While moonlight sprinkles a silver glow
Our laughter echoes down cobblestone streets
Where magic lingers in the scent of sweets
A carousel spins with a ghostly cheer
And whispers of wonder tickle the ear
So grab your cloak, your mischief, your grin
The carnival calls, let the chaos begin
We’ll twirl through the dark with hearts untamed
And leave the ordinary world unnamed
The stars are our confetti, the night is our stage
We’ll dance on moonbeams and write a new page
Adventure is ours where the shadows convene
