Nailed it! (Netflix Original Show)

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

Each and every one of us has seen these amazing Pinterest posts and other Social Media posts where people post these amazing recipes. They all always look delicious and look deceptively easy. This show, Nailed it! follows the host Nicole Byer, her co-host Jacques Torres, and their celebrity guest judges through trying out different dessert dishes made by home chefs following recipes just like the ones we find on social media. More often than not, the results are hilarious and look nothing like the original. 

This show is finally a cooking show we can all relate to. I can't count the number of times I have tried a recipe that I was tagged in by a friend and failed miserably. Personally, I feel I do a great job on the taste of things, but the visual results are certainly lacking. This show has certainly taught me I'm not alone. While a lot of the show is downright comedy between Nicole goofing off with the other judges and the outcomes of some rather disastrous dishes, I've learned a lot from it from the helpful tips that Jacques gives the contestants. Baking isn't just about having the right ingredients, but it's also in the technique, especially when it comes to decorating. 

All in all, I would give this show a 4.5 out of 5 heart container rating. It's a fun, light-hearted show that always brings a smile to my face. The only thing I don't really like is that I feel like the episodes are a little too short. I would love it if instead of 2 rounds of competition, there were three each episode. It seems like each time I get used to the contestants in that episode and get excited for more, it's time for the next episode.
