Pork Tenderloin with Honey Garlic Glaze

Pork Tenderloin with Honey Garlic Glaze
Ingredients:
-
1 to 1.5 lb pork tenderloin
-
Salt and black pepper to taste
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1/4 cup honey
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)
-
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
-
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a hint of heat)
Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
Season pork tenderloin with salt and pepper on all sides.
-
In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear pork on all sides until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
-
In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, mustard, and red pepper flakes.
-
Pour the glaze over the pork in the skillet.
-
Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
-
Baste the pork once or twice with the glaze during baking.
-
Remove from oven, let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
-
Spoon extra glaze from the pan over the sliced pork to serve.
Pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
