Chocolate Crinkle Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed

  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In another bowl, beat granulated sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined. Dough will be slightly sticky.

  4. Chill dough for at least 1 hour.

  5. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.

  7. Place on baking sheets about 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake 10–12 minutes, until cookies are set but still soft in the center.

  9. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
