Creamy Lemon Herb Chicken
Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest
-
1 teaspoon dried thyme
-
1 teaspoon dried basil

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or extra lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions:

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.

In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, thyme, and basil. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to warm through.

Garnish with fresh parsley or lemon slices before serving.
Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
