Peanut Butter Blossom Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup packed brown sugar

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • Granulated sugar for rolling

  • 24–30 chocolate kiss candies, unwrapped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.

  4. Mix in the egg, vanilla, and milk.

  5. Add the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.

  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll each in granulated sugar.

  7. Place on baking sheet and bake 8–10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.

  8. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie.

  9. Cool completely to allow the chocolate to set.
