Chocolate Peppermint Snaps Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar, packed
-
1 large egg
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
½ tsp peppermint extract
-
½ cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Mix in the egg, vanilla, and peppermint extract.

Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined.

Fold in crushed peppermint candies.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on baking sheets.

Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set.

Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
