Salmon with Dill Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh dill sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Salmon:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or preheat your grill to medium-high heat if grilling.

  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets and rub it evenly to coat.

2. Cook the Salmon:

Baking Method:

  1. Place the seasoned salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Grilling Method:

  1. Place the seasoned salmon fillets directly on the preheated grill grates.

  2. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has grill marks.

3. Prepare the Dill Sauce:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, fresh lemon juice, chopped dill, and minced garlic (if using). Stir until well mixed.

  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, if needed.

4. Serve:

  1. Once the salmon is cooked, transfer it to a serving platter or individual plates.

  2. Spoon the creamy dill sauce over the cooked salmon fillets.

  3. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh dill sprigs, if desired.

  4. Serve the salmon with dill sauce hot, and enjoy the delicious combination of tender salmon with the tangy and herby dill sauce!
