Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
- Mix beef, pork, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, milk, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Shape into small meatballs.
- Brown meatballs in a skillet; set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in flour. Gradually add beef broth, whisking until smooth.
- Stir in cream, return meatballs, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or lingonberry sauce.
