You (Netflix Original Show)
Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!
Today I have an all-new show to review for you.
You is another one of those Netflix Original shows that pop up in your recommendations and you aren't really sure about. The show follows a man named Joe who meets a girl named Beck in the book shop that he works in. Instantly he falls for her, but shortly after their interaction is over. Joe then begins to stalk Beck and try to learn everything he can about her. After following her closely and trying to learn more about her, he finds her in danger and he saves her, acting as though his presence is a coincidence. They then finally reconnect in a way where she can see him too. Over time, they start to grow a relationship.
I have only seen the first episode so far and I am really liking it. I love the fact that it is from the point of view of the stalker. It is interesting to see the darker side of humanity even if it is fictional. That was one of the huge draws of shows like Dexter and End of the F**king World (another Netflix Show). The show so far is really well done, and the characters are really thought out.
All in all, I give this show so far 4.5 of 5 hearts.
I am at a point where I am dying to get to the next episode, but I had to pause it so I could focus on writing. I highly recommend this show so far and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. The only thing I would change about the show is that I think that they tried to cram an episode and a half worth of stuff into a single episode. I feel like some of the parts deserved a bit more time on them. Aside from that, the show was amazing and it was totally the kind of show I can see myself binging.
I hope you all enjoy it and if you watch this show, let us know what you think in the comments!
