Chai Spiced Caramel Apple Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 large apples (Granny Smith recommended)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon chai spice blend (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, nutmeg)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or chocolate drizzle (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Apples: Wash and thoroughly dry apples. Insert wooden sticks into the cores.

  2. Make Chai Caramel:

    • Heat sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until melted and golden.
    • Slowly add butter, then whisk in heavy cream. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, chai spice, and salt.
  3. Coat Apples: Dip apples in caramel, spinning to coat evenly. Add optional garnishes while still sticky.
