Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup basmati rice
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads, soaked in 2 tbsp warm milk
  • 1/4 cup rosewater
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios (for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons raisins (optional)
  • Pinch of ground cardamom

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Rice:

    • Rinse rice and cook in milk over medium heat, stirring frequently, until softened (about 20 minutes).
