Turkey and Vegetable Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1 cup grated zucchini (squeeze out excess water)
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons ketchup (plus extra for topping)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Set to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine turkey, vegetables, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Shape Meatloaf: Form into a loaf shape and place on a baking sheet or loaf pan. Top with ketchup if desired.
- Bake: Cook for 40–45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve: Serve once removed from oven with green beans or another vegetable.
