Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos
Ingredients:

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

1 cup salsa (your favorite kind)

1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tablespoons homemade)

1/2 cup chicken broth
-
1 tablespoon lime juice

Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, cilantro, jalapeños, etc.

Taco shells or tortillas
Instructions:

Place chicken in the slow cooker.

Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken.

Pour salsa, chicken broth, and lime juice on top.

Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is very tender and easy to shred.

Shred chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker; stir to coat evenly in the sauce.

Serve in taco shells or tortillas with your favorite toppings.
